Ending the BS on outdated Spiritual ‘rules’
As the vibration of this planet and its people rises to new levels of understanding and enlightened thought, many of the old paradigms of what used to be seen or expected within the Spirituality communities is changing too.
I feel firstly that more of us are seeing the truth of who we are. This, in itself, is what I call Spirituality.
Secondly, there are a lot of outdated ideas and rules that seem to still be getting thrust upon people, especially newbies to Spirituality, that really put it in a category of a type of religion, and in some cases a bit cultish, rather than self-discovery and essence.
So, lets start with what Spirituality actually means.
- the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material or physical things.
“the shift in priorities allows us to embrace our spirituality in a more profound way”
The contrasts of this life:
- Spirituality /Humanness
- Intuition /Logic
- Feminine /Masculine
- 3D/5D and above
I have always thought of Spirituality as remembering, or discovering more about, myself and who I really am. With that comes different skills and talents I innately have and have also learned. Different modalities I use to help my work and clarity as well as tools to help others in their search for meaning.
The tools, gifts and modalities do not make me Spiritual.
My Spirituality is enhanced and helped by them.
I also understand that I do not need to, nor have to, follow any particular practice each day to be Spiritual. My resistance to any rules around this come from a Catholic upbringing where you were deemed unworthy unless you stuck by the rules of the religion. Where is Spirituality in that? It is fear-based adherence to control in many instances and unfortunately I see this in the Spiritual communities too.
Too many bs rules about what you must do, say or be. Too many people saying you are less than if you do not follow their practices. Too many out there saying you are not good enough or there is something wrong with you, just so they can ‘fix’ you with their thing. It is not right and in the higher vibrations we are entering, hopefully will not be around much longer. It creates so much fear and hopelessness in people and is not empowering them to be the best version of themselves.
So, if you are staring on your Spiritual path, what does that mean for you?
It means you are noticing and learning that you are more than you can see or sense with your physical body. You are treating yourself as you wish others to treat you (hence self-love) and are meeting people in your reality that are showing you different aspects of yourself so you can decide your truth and energy. You are beginning to understand that your beliefs create your reality and that you are an empowered being that can choose in every moment how you feel, what you do and think and what you create.
You will be seeking like minded people and also the tools and practices that feel good to you that will help you become the best version of you as you evolve in this lifetime.
If you are already on your Spiritual path you will be gaining more knowledge about all the above and will be guiding your life with empowering thoughts and actions that match a high vibration energy of self-love and acceptance. You will have found many ways to do this that you feel good about. Rituals, modalities, skills, talents, tools and practices that empower you daily in the way you are asking.
There are many people in the Spiritual community that are leaders in their field too and are on purpose daily in their life with their passion of inviting others to more self-awareness.
I believe we can all be Spiritual Leaders when we understand who we really are and act from that place of love, compassion, empowerment, and oneness.
- Kindness and compassion for ourselves and others.
- Seeing the Light of ourselves in all others.
- Knowing that all life has the same energy flowing through it as we do, including the planet.
- Understanding that the Universe is within, and starting there with any change you wish to see.
- Understanding that you are a leader to those around you simply by being you, your truth, your vulnerability and strength.
My point to all of this is that whatever works for you, great!
If someone wants to do what you do, great!
If you have rituals and practices that work for you, great!
If you use them in your work to help others that’s great too!
Everyone is different and we all get results in different ways. We are all on different journeys too.
For a long time I thought I was such a failure and would never be as ‘good’ as every one else in the Spiritual community because:
- I am not a strong medium, or several other modalities that are popular.
- I do not practice rituals
- I am not really in a ‘sisterhood’
- I didn’t have a painful hero’s journey
- I like to do things my way- the way that feels good but not necessarily THE way it is ‘meant’ to be done
- I don’t like cluttering my mind with information just for the sake of it.
But now, I know I am on purpose in this life and my passion for empowering and inspiring people has unfolded in exactly the way it needed to for my journey here, now, and for the people manifesting my leadership and work.
And I want you to know that YOU are good enough just the way you are. There is nothing wrong with you. You are perfect, a miracle, a vital element in this universe.
Wherever you are at, whatever your skills and abilities, wherever your purpose is taking you and whatever stage you are at in your evolution- YOU ARE ENOUGH.
And when you feel you want to enhance all of who you are, the teachers will come, the information will arrive and you will be directed to what you need to know. It will then be up to YOU to decide what to take on board and what to leave behind. Only you will know what resonates.
And to the Spiritual Leaders out there, be the Light, the Love, the peace. Lead the way back to the heart. Empower and inspire, teach and serve, but allow people to have the freedom to be on their path of uniqueness too.
Love and blessings
